EDIT: Resolved.

Unable to access item vault, seems related to shimmer pack bug having to do with dwarves.

You probably downloaded it during beta; make sure you have the latest version by redownloading it from there: https://te4.org/tome/mtx

Yes to both questions!

I did indeed buy during the beta, and the re-download of the *.teaa file resolved the issue.

The problem was related to Norgan's Boots. The poor dwarf just can't catch a break.
