ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was playing a berserker on the EoR campaign. At approximately level 40 I entered the zone with the teleporter where you choose 4 symbols and put in the symbol and teleported to a zone I think was called occult egress. After clearing this zone, I left (I think using the rod) and was teleported to the AoA campaign. I was able to go to the various locations normally and even killed the master (interestingly the orcs were friendly as I was an orc) but was not able to talk to anybody in towns as they were hostile and couldn't really do anything.

That's an .. interesting turn of events. :/
Where was the Egress on the worldmap ?

Anyone else had that happen?

I’m not sure - I kind of just assumed it was normal until it teleported me to another continent. If it makes any difference I had done several cultists events including the glass golem. I can try uploading the save if you want?

Sadly I dont think the savefile would be much help :/

The same thing just happened to my sawbutcher yeti. While I was in the Occult Egress I was frozen by a mob and when the freeze stopped, the background lighting haven't come back to normal. I used my rod and I landed in Maj eyal. I don't know if there's a link between these two events?
