ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I tried playing a Doombring in the 1.6 patch and it appears to me that "Fiery Aegis" skill from the Heart of Fire tree is literally doing nothing. I have never once seen a damage shield appear, or seen any "absorb" messages in the combat log after using the skill.

I posted this in the steam forum bug report section, but I'm guessing Darkgod doesn't check that one out as much.

As for the bug, I can't seem to reproduce it. Can you reproduce it on a new character (without any addons) ?

I will see what I can do.

I haven't been able to reproduce it either. Maybe it was some weird interaction between the reflect damage shield rune I was using and the way I used the skill. I will keep the save if I see the bug again.
