"There and Back Again" - Unable to Progress

I obtained the two items Zemekky's requested and have the necessary amount of gold. However, when I speak with him in The Gates of Morning, I only receive the option to come back when I have all of the items he needs.
Any help would be appreciated!
What I was doing in-game:
I made the (bad) assumption that both requested items would be found together or in a similar place. I thus essentially cleared the Far East before returning to Zemekky's to learn where else I could look for the second needed item. Once he gave me the information, I went immediately there, obtained the item and returned. I triple-checked that I have met all conditions of the quest.

- Leaving & returning to town
- Existing the game and retrying
- Had a look at a version of the code here: https://git.net-core.org/tome/t-engine4 ... mekkys.lua. My in-game experience followed this code exactly, but I still see the "I lack some stuff" message
- Posted on IRC about the issue but the only responder thought I simply hadn't visited Zemekky's the second time to obtain the needed information.
- System: Win 10 32GB
- Tome: 1.5.10 Normal/Exploration Maj'Eyal campaign Level 44 Cornac Bulwark
- Acquired via: Steam
- Sync: not syncing via TOME (maybe thru Steam?)
