[Cults 1.0.1] Revelation + Prophecy of Treason does nothing

I've studied the combat logs, and I don't see any benefit from Revelation when Prophecy of Treason is applied. No damage is being redirected to anyone.
Relatedly, I think the description is unclear. I have no idea what "a random target affected by the damage link" is. What damage link?
