ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Unfortunately don't have a log as I restarted the game to try to solve it, but I'm currently stuck in Temporal Reprieve land. I'm currently out east and cant use my Rod of Recall. The Temporal Reprive button is ghosted out and doesn't respond to clicking. This was the first time I used the talent and have just hit level 40.

Am I just missing something obvious here? Can I salvage this character anyway because its the first one I've gotten so far into the game.

Let's be real, you've just found an untraditional way to win. Instead of saving the world and then getting killed by some upstart orc with strange ideas about how pressure works, you've just decided to create your own world instead!

If you want to leave for whatever reason, then just turn on dev mode to fix it and then turn it off immediately afterwards. Potential fixes include clicking off the Temporal Reprieve effect[If that's even how that talent works] or just teleporting to, say, the Sunwall. If you're philosophically opposed to dev mode, I've heard that devs in the tomechat will occasionally fix saves with game-breaking bugs like this one, but I can't guarantee it.

Contact a mod in game chat and they should be able to teleport you elsewhere.
