Hi, I was just killed with suffocation even though I clearly had enough oxygen left. I had 20-something oxygen left, and was 4 or 5 steps away from an air bubble. Suddenly, I started suffocating and died before I could make it to the bubble. Any explanations?

Some sort of slow effect maybe?

Afaik, if you have been under the effect of suffocation, you gotta actually go outside from water tiles for it to be removed, bubbles won't save you

Yeah, it sucks, I've also died to that

Your case sounds different though, did you have any item modifying your air number?

According to my screenshot, there were no slow effects. I was literally just walking when I randomly suffocated to death. I had 18 oxygen, and I'd never gone to 0 the entire time I was there.
