I think I remember someone saying in the chat that brawler sometimes got ridiculous damage for no apparent reason.
Well here is Nerena the spitting spider in Ardhungol with 305 damage on charsheet with only 87 phys power. Since I hadn't seen anything remotely as high yet I thought it might be one of those case.

About a month ago unarmed mastery was changed. Now brawlers hit harder but not as fast as before.

sure but still, a high peak guardian with steam gun mastery 18 and 120 phys power had "only" 279 damage listed on char sheet. That brawler spider had 30 less phys power, mastery 10 and not sure if those were voratun gloves, I'd have to check, and it had 305 listed damage! That seems odd to me.

Yeah I had an encounter with a brawler at lvl 20 or so in dreadfell that had 255 phys power, literally one-shot me, thankfully on adventure. Had to gtfo with movement skills after that, was like a random final boss.

yeah enemy unarmed damage is all over the place, ive seen a patchwork troll rare in dreadfell with 280ish base damage and trash mob dredges with far more than a trash mob should have

Yeah I always thought it was weird for dredges to hit that hard.
