Bug with Cease to Exist (Chronomancy)

Not sure if this is a bug or intended.

I was fighting a boss in High Peak (level 5). I hit him with Cease to Exist, which was not resisted. The timeline split.

The boss knocked me back, breaking the terrain. He moved forward onto the newly available spot.

I killed the boss.

The timeline rewinded. The boss was dead, and the terrain was restored to its former configuration.

BUT

The loot that the boss dropped was nowhere to be found. When the terrain was restored, it wiped out all the loot. And that being a High Peak boss means I lost a fair bit. :(

Loot that drops inside a wall is teleported randomly on a free tile not far away, but not the closest spot at all. Autoexplore should pick it up for you though.

That's totally what should have happened. Buuut it didn't. I auto explored the map and dug out the surrounding area. No loot.

yes. if the wall is already there.
if i am reading this correctly, the loot dropped first, and then the tile had reset to the previous state. to a state, in which there was no loot there.

unless the timeline...

you know what? NEVER MIND! the spell is working EXACTLY as intended!
Cease to exist? you know, if you kill it, it NEVER EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE! that means, it cant be there to drop loot!

yup. typical chronomancers. there are no bugs, only anomalies.

I never really played with that spell but I assumed that it could roll back the world, restore the wall and decide to make the boss die on a tile that is inside the reformed wall :)
