1.5 Possessor Mindwhip causes Psionic Disruption to not Proc

If I activate Psionic Disruption it works just fine, but after using mindlash even once on possessor psionic disruption will fail to proc until I deactivate and reactivate psionic disruption. Even changing enemies does not help. I've tried it with a mindstar in both hands and also a one hand and mindstar in the offhand.
