If I enable the EoR addon and play the main campaign I get this crazy bug when I take my first turn.

Do you use any non-official addons? If so, try without first

Nope, I haven't even got around to downloading any yet

played over 120 hours since getting ToME a few days ago and still finding fun things to do without any addons.
