I played an alchemist and threw a gem infused with cold at my golem. this always worked but now, the golem got hostile and killed me. do not think this is intended behaviour.

considering its a permanent companion, to a class that uses only aoe, and half its talents are related to allies in the aoe radius...
yeah, i would say that deffinitely shouldn't happen.

so, standard question.
system, game version, any addons?

If you get put inside an ice cube, something which can happen if you hurt yourself with your frost bombs, the golem will help tofree you by attacking the ice cube. The problem is that it hurts you probably more than it helps. Maybe that's what happened.

Was in KerTul, level 2 i think. opened a vault with my alchemist. Vault was 2 opposing doors 6 spaces afar and with 4 single-space rooms , 2 on eather side. trap behind both entrance into vault.
Killed the mob inside the vault and tried to disarm the fireball trap. but instead of "disable trap"-wand i activated my gem-throw. me and my golem got both hit by the blast and because i was severly wounded tried to rest. so when i got into next round, my golem attacked and killed me.

its official game-version 1.49 from steam with both dlc

addons:
zomnibus addon-pack, blinkenlights, stoic class, ignore race/class locks, select your escorts (disabled), troll race, spellsword, verbose enemies.

System:
Win 10, Intel I5-2500k @3,3 ghz 16gb ram, no real problems on this running system.

Cant discharge this possibility (dont can recall if i was frozen) but when i tried to rest, the system said i couldnt because enemy was near... but only saw me and my golem so i took the 1 round wait, and got killed... when i looked at the logs, it was my golem who was hostile. so dont know its counted as hostile when he tries to free me from ice,

The golem counts as hostile while you are in a cube indeed. At least for me it shows with a red outline instead of green. This is probably how the game coded it so your pets/summons "help" you out of the ice.
