ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just turned the game on, and my character is invisible. My health bar is showing, and the little puff of steam near my head (this is a sawbutcher), but other than that, the ground where I'm standing is being displayed instead of me. Closing and restarting the game had no effect, and neither did going into a different area (into or out of a town).

I have attached a screenshot, with the place my character is marked in red. Is there any other info I should provide to assist in fixing this?

Do you have the pirate sustain activated?
I know this happens to me if I'm in pirate form, close the game, and launch it again sometimes.

It looks like this is related to the pirate sustain. When I turned it off, my character reappears, and when I turn it back on, he vanishes.

The game.teag file is too big for me to attach here. Is there an email address I should send the files to?

Ah no need then it is the pirate sustain.
Take it off, save, reload and it'll work again
