ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So I was told to post on the forums about this a while back and forgot about it until now. I hit a bug while playing as a yeek where I can't actually progress the game any more because on the overland map, there's no tunnel from the small yeek island to the continent. It disappeared and I'm stuck.

Some context for the save: I was playing a yeek summoner and got to the tunnel to the Halfling ruins. Subject Z straight up murders me, I tell the eidolon to respawn me somewhere safe. I got warped to the main continent of the game and continued onward.

I got to level 21, realized I should go back and finish off the subject, and check on the island. I was curious if something had changed on it or if it was still the same from the beginning (Derth has a quest-line, lots of stuff happens in lost hope, why not irkkk?). So I go back to the island, everything is the same except for 1 problem. The tunnel is no longer appearing on the map, so I can't get back to the continent and continue onward. I'm pretty much just stuck where I am right now with no way to progress further.

My username on tome is sepik121 (same as here) and it's done through steam. File is too big to upload here, so i'll post it on google docs and link it here when i get a chance, and here are the addon's i'm using

* Zomnibus Addon Pack
* Doctornull's Tweak Pack
* Exponential Leveling - based more points

Also hit a similar problem now, but with a Skeleton Gunslinger. I've gone throughout most of the campaign, went to the East, came back to the West. Now I need to do the quest for Tannel (the person who scams you and throws you in a dungeon in Last Hope) to go back to Reknor, but it's not showing up on my map, meaning I'm stuck once again on an entirely different character.

Do you have steam cloud saves enabled?

odd cause, but failing anything else we (the staff) can force you back onto the mainland so you can continue that character, if you can just catch one of us online when you are. Swing by the IRC, or speak up next time I (Aura Of The Dawn), sheila dekar or stuntofthelitter show up in chat. (Or swing by the IRC channel to grab our attention.)

Yeah, I have steam cloud saves enabled. I play using my laptop when I'm away and using my PC at home.

Steam Cloud saves do not function properly.

Any chance on getting the skeleton save fixed or able to work then? I submitted a ticket and haven't heard back. I popped onto the ToME irc for some help but got told to wait a few days (which was about a week ago now). The yeek was fixed by a simple mod teleport to the east, who later died. However, my skeleton gunslinger is still stuck in limbo more or less right now.

I have disabled the cloud saves though. I'll be playing different characters on each computer from now on
