ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was fighting the Vor Armory bossand things were getting hairy, so just to be sure I started channeling my rod of recall. As it usually happens, I defeated the boss and kept fighting other enemies without picking anything he dropped and forgot about the rod of recall. So yeah, suddenly the pop-up comes up and I have to re-enter the area.

When I re-enter the second level of the area (after that maze full of traps), I realize it had been somehow reset, because everything was black, as if I was entering there for the first time. So I went on to explore it again and realized the boss hadn't spawned again, maybe because I had already killed him, after all. But the thing is, I the Athame wasn't there either!

So it looks like a pretty nasty bug to me, huh? I mean, I don't care about the juicy drops of the boss that I missed, but without the athame I can't finish the game.

I've had a few similar problems lately. In the new expansion I revisited the slumbering caves and it reset. The problem is I can't leave the slumbering caves until I defeat the boss. I've already beaten the boss and it won't respawn, so now I can't leave.

Similarly (also in the new expansion), I was fighting High Sun Paladin Aeryn and she was kicking my ass so I ran away. When I went back into the Gates of the Morning she had despawned. Now I can't continue the game because I have to kill her first.

No idea how to fix it. There's no error or crash report either to report.
