ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The heroic dwarven-steel gauntlets of dispersion on my Stonewarden character called Lapidem http://te4.org/characters/149953/tome/b ... 7dfd1c60ef, seems to be bugged. When I use elemental split while wearing that item, the disperse magic ability the item has, suddently becomes unusable. When trying to use the ability, i get a message with: "You must wear this object to use it", while already wearing it. When I unequip the item, and equip it again, the disperse magic ability becomes available again. I used this method a couple of times when i needed the ability, but now I've discovered that the attributes the item has, are permanently added to my character each time I re-equip the item. My character has become overpowered now, so continuing with it feels like cheating. I also noticed that the game crashed often when I was wearing the item.

I've included a debug.log from a session in which i re-equiped the concerning item.

I've calculated that i re-equipped the item at least 4 times and unintentionally got the following attributes:

Magic 4x4 = 16
Willpower 4x4 = 16
Armour 6x4 = 24
Damage(melee) = 7 arcane (this does not seem to stack like other attributes).
Resistance(arcane) = 4 x 5% = 20%
Mental save = 4 x 7 = 28
Maximum live = 4 x 43 = 192

I would greatly appreciate if my character is debuffed according to these stats if it doesn't take to much of your time

The problem is with the Stone Warden Elemental Split ability. At this point I can only suggest not playing them or playing them but not taking Elemental Split.

I can potentially fix the issue on your character but it might end up being far more time consuming than I can afford. If you don't mind waiting a bit for me to decide that then follow the link in my signature.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

But I think I will just create a new character, this character only had 3 hours of played time, so I won't trouble you any further .

Will we see a fix for elemental split anytime soon?
