ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Upon the completion of the Keepsake quest (the unique Cursed one in Tranquil Meadow), I did not receive the acorn. I got the quest notification for acquiring the cold iron acorn, so the quest is definitely completed, but I still do not have the item. Is this a known issue and is there a way to fix it without creating a new character?

It shouldn't be possible, but if it happened it happened. I can fix it for you though; follow the directions in my signature.

As it happens, I'm new to the forums, and actually have no idea how to link the character. If somebody could explain how, I'll try and post it.

Also, I am using a few add ons, though the only way that they particularly interacted with this character was by adding in a few new items. I imagine it would be a stretch for this to be the cause, but who knows?

This happened to me as well. Completely finished the Cursed quest (as good) but no acorn anywhere.
