ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello.
I had just finished Dreadfell and when I ported out of there I got to the Orc ambush. Here is where things got strange... I'll try to explain in what order stuff happened:

1. I killed the Orc leader (boss mob).
2. I got killed myself by the remaining Orc archer.
3. I returned from the death place thingy, to the ambush map. I killed the last remaining Orc archer.
4. The exit tile is gone, meaning I can't return to the world map. Also, I can't use the Rod of Recall (it just says it "emits a strange noise and returns to normal").
5. My character is stuck without being able to continue the game. I tried digging away some of the trees even to see if the exit tile was just hidden somewhere but no luck. Can this be fixed somehow so that I can continue with my character?

We can probably force you out of the ambush if you can catch one of the moderators online ingame or ping us in IRC. (Dekar, Aura Of The Dawn, Sheila)

We'll need to know your in-game account name at the time, and you'll need to load the character up.

Not sure what'll happen as the quest advances. Do you still have the staff you got from the the master, or was that successfully removed from inventory? If not, it may do odd thngs, but will hopefully still be playable.

Aura Of The Dawn helped me get back to the world map and it seems to work now (I had the staff). Thank you so much for the quick help!

Had same bug few minutes ago, Dekar helped me to travel to Last hope.
