whitehoof brawler can not proc on hit breaths

Currently playing a whitehoof brawler and noticed that the Poison Breath proc from my naturalist's gauntlets was never going off. Checked the log file and saw the following message:

[LOG] Punchingcow is too disconnected from Nature to use Poison Breath.

Not entirely sure if this is a bug but if it's not it should be indicated in game somehow.

 ...

undead. undead cannot use nature gifts. whitehoofs are undead (i think, the quest giver was) poison breath may be nature gift.
try using other gloves or gauntlets. ones that are NOT infused with nature.

Being infused with nature won't impact it. But if the on-hit ability is a wild-gift it'll never proc. All the breaths are indeed wild-gifts (from the wyrmic tree) and whitehoofs are indeed an undead race.

OK, the behavior is not a bug. However, there should probably be some sort of in game indication other than the complete lack of procs.

I still think this makes little sense in-universe. Procs are a property of the item, not the user. Thus it should be utterly irrelevant whether the user is undead or not.

But yeah, if this doesn't get changed, there probably should be a warning that nature procs do not work for undead characters.

That depends on how it would work.
Sure, the item contains the mechanizm, but it might be one that requires at least SOME user input.
otherwise we might say that just like anti arcane item disrupts user's spells, the undeadness of your character may disrupt the working of the item.

in short, not worth thinking about.
