Animus Purge + multiplaying slime = immortal slimes

Was wandering around the Sandworm tunnels, used Animus Purge on a slime that was almost dead. It split at the same time and the two copies would not die. Displayed Health: Unknown.
When I used Animus Purge on one of them to see if that would work, it did. The husk/slime was healed to full otherwise worked as usual. Later, when it dropped to 0 health, it too remained alive, as a husk in my control.
I walked away from the now many immortal slimes and they were crushed by collapsing sand walls. They fell out of sight and I cannot know if they are still alive, or finally destroyed.
As for the husk/slime, it remains by my side, immortal as ever.
Saved the log file, but it is too big to be attached and I'm not sure which bits are needed.
