ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

In Searing Halls 2 I've found two different tiles (EDIT: I found two more in 3), and while I stand on them all tiles and characters vanish from view, leaving only the starry background. The UI remains, action bar, resources, tooltips, etc. I can even mouse over tiles and it will still give me the tooltips for them. This lasts a seemingly indefinite number of turns as long as I remain on the specific tiles, and occurs every time I step onto them.

For errors like this we need more info, such as system
os, graphics settings, ui, log, and screenshot would be great.
