So while it says it brings your Death Momentum to max and grants an enormous number of turns, what it actually does at the moment seems to be a bit different:
If you have no stack of death momentum, it does exactly what it says. Same if you have a maxed stack.
If you have a non-max stat, it adds 1 to your stack and the normal massive turn count.
Not seeing a hint on this in the description, so probably unintended?

Essence drain tends to have a weird turn count effect as well (especially when stacked). It'll just shove the timer off into the center of the screen. So instead of going from 12 to 18, I go from 12 to 18.7 that's over 3 tiles from where it should be.
