[1.4.x] Shooting arrows beyond bow's range

Archers and Time Wardens are not allowed to shoot their arrows at targets beyond bow's range without pressing extra key (<ctrl>) while others are allowed to waste turns and resources using beams that can't reach intended targets.

Please, either remove this complication for archers or give us in-game setting to eliminate this behaviour.

[mistakenly used 'undershoot' instead of 'shooting beyond range']

"Shoot" also can't be executed while pointing over max range without crtl, making it annoying to kill trash early on that moves in from a long corridor.
I think this is pretty new and I don't remember when it split from all of the other target/line abilities. Spells etc. still can be targeted this way and just are executed in that direction, hitting the first target if being a projectile.
