ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

is a tedious business. Stairs up can't be found because of all the hidden vaults, and the rod of recall doesn't work.
Why can't the rod start working after you killed the boss? Or a portal in the back of the cave to somewhere - anywhere, please!
The message that your soldiers want to speak with you means you should be able to get out, correct?

Bug: going up from level 2 to 1 gives you the 'the stairs are trapped, you fell for a long time' message again...

You should be able to RoR while in the boss room.

Thanks. When going down again, I noticed something else: It seems monsters on level 2 are re-generated when going down the stairs from 1 to 2, and from 2 to 3, and in the prison. Bosses excluded...

I had monsters respawn in the troll port too (bosses excluded). Might happend when you get a few levels in between.
