ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello,

Recently bought the Embers expansion, but every time I try to load the game it crashes once the loading splash screen reaches or gets near 100%. I've launching the game with safe-mode launch options but no luck. Here's a pastebin log of my te4_log.txt http://pastebin.com/M7ZUf8cP

I deleted the OpenAL32.dll file from the ToME directory and now the game works. I'm hoping deleting that file doesn't have any negative effects.
