[1.4.2] Reaver starts with only one weapon

I don't know if it's due to the latest batch of updates (hadn't tried a reaver in a while) but I made four of them lately, all different races, and they all started with only one single one-handed axe. Which, admittedly, is nowhere near game-breaking, but does prevent them from using their melee spells until one lucks out into an extra one.

And considering many races won't start with enough Cunning, even daggers are usually out. It's... Aggravating, frankly, and I don't remember this being an issue in the 1.3 versions (but I freely admit I could be wrong on that.) I'm still on 1.4.2, but I didn't see this addressed in the bugfix list for 1.4.3, so I thought I'd mention it here.

So, long story short, could they start with a second one-handed pokestick of some kind ? Pretty please with extra Vim on top ? :wink:

I think it is related to the auto assign starting talents option.

I've not had this issue so it might be addon related, or try what housepet said also, I've seen that create some strange behavior with resource bars.

and yes, i had "auto assign=off"

I think what happens is that if you don't have auto assign points on, it tries to put the axe in your offhand slot and is told to gtfo, which means the axe remains in limbo instead of appearing somewhere accessible.
