ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

As the title says, I can only access the offline vault when I attempt to use it. I've had this problem since at least version 1.3. What's weirder is that I have an old character kicking about that can access the vault, but any new characters that I make just give me the offline vault if they make it to the fortress.

When you load/start a character does the log talk about switching to offline profile ? and if so, it should say why.
Also, dev mode is off I assume ?

I just checked. It doesn't mention about switching to an offline profile. And I've never even touched Dev Mode, but it's definitely not on. The character page shows that I may have been offline with the character for some point, but even a fresh load into it with no signs of being on an offline mode gives me the offline vault only.

If it helps, I have the Talent Point Planner and Orc Breeding Pit Restoration Mods. I'm going to try a new character with those both off and see if that changes anything.

Well, I just got a new character to the fortress, and so far he has access to the online vault.

edit: He did for a minute or so at least. I stupidly loaded a different character to see if it was resolved, and after some LUA error about the tileset, the new character no longer has the online vault.

Same here,

offline vault only, regardless of addons or so. I can see the chat, am definitely online, but vault thinks I'm offline for reasons unknown.
Wondered for a sec whether paranoia settings on my firewall could cause it, but nope, disabling the whole firewall didn't help
Running win10.

To anyone concerned: go into dev mode (that will disable the chats fromt he addon, but not the vault addon itself)
- bring up the console with Ctrl-L
- type the following three lines:
=profile:isDonator()
=profile.connected
=profile.auth
- provide the output.
