ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So I went into a fearscape portal in one of the prides. Cast see the threads, spell failed due to anti magic debuff. Got hit by Champion of Urok, died. But did not go to Eidolon plane. error messages kept popping up on screen with each action I took. At negative hp, can use items and swap equipment sets, could cast some skills initially but now can't. Can't move, time doesnt pass. Can't exit game without task manager.

This sort of happened before in past play sessions, but when I closed the game and reloaded she was back to the last time the game saved before the crash. So I could continue as normal. This time it's not doing that.

What do now?

I can probably repair it.
