ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

This has been happening almost every time I log in. What happens is this:

Game launches and it slightly hangs at the initial loading bar before the main menu (for a couple of seconds).

It's not logged in. I press log in and it tries to connect but one of 3 things happen:

1. I get a "steam client not found".
2. It logs in anyway but when I click my online profile and go to the steam tab it tells me I don't own ToME on steam.
3. It takes me to the registration page.

When it finally does connect with steam, it just bugs out again next time I launch it, and I have to spend 10 minutes trying to get a connection to the steam client next time I want to play.


Another thing is when it logs in and I click my profile it tells me I've only played for 14 hours (I've played for 56 hours) and my last login was hours ago, even though I've logged in just a few minutes before while testing.

That even happens when it finally does connect to steam and the steam tab in the profile says everything is fine.

What gives? Is the server bugging out these days and I'm just really unlucky, or what's going on.

Is your steam account connected to your te4.org account?

Yes. I linked them the first time I booted the game up a little over a week ago, and I logged in through steam on the website as well.
