training dummy has huge amount of health and regenerates like 10k hp every turn.
but if the dummy couldn't take damage, that would defeat the purpose of its existence.
which is to test your damage output.
as for actually being able to do enough damage

so... you've dealt like 30k damage... did you invert heal it or something?

Hehehehe. I ran a dual class (Marauder/Barbarian) Troll on Nightmare.
This gets some insane stats, and, because you get a lot of randbosses, some insane items as well.

Scent increases your global speed by 142%, for example. I was at movement 241%, attack 171%, when walking in the wilderness.

So yes, this was a really OP character. I tested weapons by 200 bumps and on one dummy with default values I got up to 18000/turn.
