ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello,

My primary gaming machine got stolen yesterday and I am trying to play my gog.com copy of Tales on my other computer. I installed it fine and logged into my online account. It does not download my achievements and unlocks. I tried to make some adjustments to the UI (don't auto assign points, display grid lines, turn off the audio, etc...) and these apply immediately but are forgotten when I return to the main menu. I am also logged out. I log back in and sometimes it does not work, but when it does it auto logs out after just a few minutes on the front page. What could be going on?

OK, I had partial success by browsing the log and trying to understand the errors. I had installed a beta version on this older computer and the new install was not able to access the existing T-engine directory. I have fixed this and can now make changes to options. It remains connected to my online profile but my unlocks and achievements from my profile are not available. There are no other Warnings or Errors in the log. What would be the next debug step?

Have it connected to your account in the main game menu and wait for it to sync.
