Dying in orc ambush after Dreadfell

If you kill Ukruk in the ambush after the dreadfell and there are still enemies standing, you can die normally to them without the free pass you normally get with loss of the staff. Not sure if it's intended, but it seems rather silly to punish you for killing the main threat- I lost a promising character to this
