Rotting stench of the dead quest doesn't get completed

I've exited Blighted ruins as a Ghoul Berserker, but the quest is still listed as "active". Maybe the fact that I didn't defeat the Half-finished Bone Giant and wasn't wearing Cloak of Deception (but it was in the inventory) has something to do with it.
