Item sprites do not appear in the inventory screen

I have had various other problems, probably unrelated, just incase though; I had to disable a few graphical settings because the graphics were a bit messed up.
All item sprites appear fine in game, and I get their picture in the tiny chat window when I pick them up, but when I open my inventory I see all of the item's information except the item's little picture. This is an inconvenience for sorting and just sort of gets in the way of gameplay.
On a mac.

I drew arrows and stuff to help you guys find it.
