ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

For some reason Last Hope's music is much louder than anything else in the game. If I have volume at a good level for all other music and sound effects Last Hope is annoyingly loud.

*Trumpets blare angrily in protest*

I'm mentioned it, and I'm close to adjusting the volume on a few music files and making a merge request to see if I can get them changed...

I agree. This is really annoying. And not only in lost hope. That specific sound track play way too loud everywhere else in the game.

If we're adjusting audio levels anyways, am I the only one thinking the animal noises in the Yeek starting village are too loud as well?

On top of that is seems like maybe the audio adjusts in a linear way when actual perceived volume doesn't work that way. I end up leaving my music at 5 and other sounds at 20 I believe, and things very much don't scale in a desirable way.
