ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

ToME just told me "The Blood of Life seems to have no effect on you" but offered no reason as to why. This was playing as a skeleton, adventurer mode, normal difficulty. Is this intentional?

It's a thematic choice then it should really be mentioned on the character screen that skeletons can't use potions given how important this item is.

Blood of life only works for living creatures. Other potions work.

Note that items that make you count as undead block the lood of life resurection too.
