[1.3.0/Ashes 1.0.4]No sound with the Linux version

Hi all,
I am playing the GOG version of ToME 1.3.0 with the 1.0.4 version of the Ashes DLC installed and I have absolutely no sound. No sound effects, no music. I at first thought that my installing over the old 1.2.5 version from GOG had something to do with the sound not working so I uninstalled everything and re-installed and still no sound.
I've checked with my other games and I am getting sound there and then I went to youtube and watched a video and there was sound.
My system info:
Mint 17.1 64-bit
Kernel version 3.13.0-24-generic
4 GB RAM
Can you tell me what other info I need to submit to get this issue solved? THanks!
