ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey I know that people have already made bug forums like this one but I am making this one because the previous solutions didn't seem to work on my computer. So the issue is that when I try to download this games it says access denied. I already tried making a new file and putting it in the file but that didn't work, It still said access denied. The access denied announcement comes when the download bar hits 100%, just before I launch the game. I downloaded it from http://te4.org/download by clicking on the link that says Tales of Maj'Eyal Installer 1.2.5 for Windows. How do I get it to launch?

if it doesn't want want to finish downloading from the link (which it seems to be if I understand correctly), the only advice i can give you is to check your firewall.

but if you are having problems with "launcher", then my advice is to completely disregard its whining, and to drag the files out of the folder by yourself.

It sounds like you are trying to run the installer from the website, rather than downloading it then running it on your computer.

Alternately, if none of this works, you can download the current version manually, as a zip file, uncompress to a folder somewhere, and run. If you're having firewall/connection issues with the download, however, you might also have account related issues from the same thing, though it isn't certain.
