Extremely strange display bug

Hey guys, for some reason when I try to run this game in Ubuntu, I end up getting what is shown in the attached screenshot. Any idea what is going on here?

Is that your full screen we're seeing? If so, what is your display resolution? It seems almost like it's cutting off a huge chunk of the top, like it was bigger then your monitors settings.
