Wrap of Stone Walls Duration

I was trying to clear the Rektor mines, and had been forced to use my Wrap of Stone to make walls around me when I fled up some stairs. I fled successfully, rested for several turns, and returned. The walls were still there. They should have been gone in 3 turns.

did you place them, and go up stairs the very next turn?
you know, while you are on another lvl, time doesn't pass wherever you are not...
also, pretty sure going up or down stairs doesn't take a turn.
