ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The mindslayer generic skill mindhook says that it has a range of 4, but it can only grab targets up to 3 tiles away (at 1.3 effective talent level). For comparison, mindlash also has 4 range on its tooltip, but it goes 1 tile further than mindhook.

Both skills in the pictures have one point invested for an effective talent level of 1.3.

I've had similar issue with Wave of Power having shorter range than listed in some cases. When I have low Strength, the range shows as 3 or 4, but in practice it's 1 less. Also, the range is sometimes different when targeting on the diagonal versus cardinal directions.

It is fixed in 1.3. (though it could have been fixed earlier but for some reason DarkGod didn't realease the fix)
