ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was a level 14 Higher Necromancer… cleared everything in the Old Forest, picked up the Lake Nur info and then retreated to the world map. I did nothing on the map save move five squares or so and re-entered.

Level 1 was fine… completely empty as I'd left it. The next three stages were completely full of enemies again. I'm not 100% if the maps changed but I think they didn't. The boss did not respawn though… just enemies… different enemies.

Are you on Steam / do you have Steam cloud saves enabled?

I am not on Steam.

I do not know the answer to your second question, assuming it's relevant after my negative response on the first.

I don't play online and dev mode was not enabled. This is the first time I've seen this and the game suffered no problems afterwards, if that matters.
