ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I used Imbue Gem to put the Petrified Wood gem in my Cuirass of the Dark Lord, but after using the CotDL's ability, it reset back to the default, with no gem stats whatsoever.

This feels like it is possibly similar to the issue there was with Ring of Fate and demon seeds. Curious if this also happens when imbuing something like Revenant.

I had this same bug yesterday using a diamond, only the diamond's bonuses disappeared just by putting it on as a golem.
