[1.2.5] Buckler Mastery doesn't trigger Counter Shot

As the title says, I'm running a skirmisher now, he's got both Buckler Mastery and Counter Shot maxed out but no matter how many times he deflects projectiles Counter Shot doesn't trigger from that.
