1.3 testing - enemy double-moved at 100% speed ?!

Both my dude and the enemy NPC had 100% speed for the relevant actions: I had 100% global, 100% movement; the enemy had 100% global, 100% spell speed.
I hit Auto Explore, and the log shows that this NPC was able to Flame me and also Lightning me, resulting in my death.
Auto Explore seems to allow the NPCs to get two moves on me before stopping. That's just not going to be useful.
Log attached.

Found this again with a Mindslayer.
Bumped into a dude AND KILLED HIM while auto-exploring and it did not break auto-explore.

I've seen the Hymn of Moonlight/Meteoric Crash combo take enemies out without breaking autoexplore before, I'm assuming what happens is you walk into sight of the enemy, global turn rolls over and fires Hymn/Beyond The Flesh, and because your victim wasn't alive at the start of your next turn autoexplore remains active.

I don't think Beyond the Flesh smacks break autosplore.

I remember running from enemies with my 100% global speed / 100% movement speed (same for enemy) and getting hit while running. They just move + hit sometimes it seems.
Seems like after you've been slowed once and then return to 100%, you can have a double action. I don't thing it's a autoexplore specific bug, but a rare speed bug (which I still couldn't reproduce so far).
Edit: Wel.. if you got stuned and attempt to move with 1 round stun duration remaining -> hit + move next turn because you got 50% movement remainder. So not really a bug. Neither has this anything to do with your situation.
Also flame has a projectile speed, so it's sometimes possible to do a second spell before you get damage once/breaking autoexplore. Edit: Just read the log. You've taken damage and he still got the next action after autoexplore stopped :/

In order to mind-smack, I had to have seen the enemy.
Seeing an enemy ought to break auto-explore.
It does not.
This is a bug.
This bug is being reported here, in this thread.

Sounds similar to what happened to me, yeah.
But even if you auto-kill the jerk, I feel that Auto-Explore ought to break.

Yep. It's not really excusable.
Auto-Explore is sometimes giving enemies 2 turns before allowing me to act, and that makes Auto-Explore a suicide button even on Normal.

Incorrect: Beyond the Flesh does not require you to see the target.
I also wasn't implying there wasn't a bug.

I *did* see the target, but auto-explore didn't break because I killed the target before the end of my turn.
I killed the target due to Beyond the Flesh.
That's why I mentioned Beyond the Flesh.

I didn't see it happen anywhere near as often, so if it was a bug in 1.2 then I simply missed it.
I suspect you cleaned up something or other which exposed this bug.

I can verify that you can attack with a TK weapon without breaking autoexplore on 1.2.5, as long as the TK attack kills the target. This has happened to me at least once. If I remember correctly, it happened when the enemy was adjacent to me after I came around a corner, so I didn't see them beforehand.
@Doctornull: Is it possible that the mob who hit you with Flame and Lightning in 1 turn had the Arcane Combat talent or something like that?

I concur with this observation in 1.2.5 and before. it was great once TK got high, autoexplore became auto cleanup small critters.

I've killed things without breaking autoexplore with Hymn of Moonlight on <1.3.
