ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I can open the game and get to the main menu fine, as well as i can select new game and load a character, but as soon as it is finished loading and the game opens, all the UI is pixleized and unusable and the game it self is black.

Some times after clicking around a bit the game will show up, but the UI remains un usable
I have tried disabling all the shaders, and it didn't work.
