Shertul Fortress level bugs on entering

This is multiple play throughs now I have had this problem. When I go down the down staircase on the bottom of lake nur, the quest updates and the game hangs on generating the level message. It never loads and I have to kill the process. Then if I try to reload the save, it loads to a black screen that errors if you try to move.
I renamed the debug.log file and made a new one, and replaced with an old save and did it again and the log file logged this:

OK I've been playing with it some more it seems that error message is generated every time I start the game but the game keeps playing fine.
The hanging on the loading screen for shertul doesn't seem to generate any error messages. If I load a save after killing the process, despite it throwing all kinds of error messages in game, the log file doesn't add anything.

Enable flush log and try it again.

That info looks like it was from the debug.log file. Next time this happens get the info at the bottom of te4_log.txt.

Oh sorry and thank you. I got a different character to the ruins and the same thing happens so it looks like this is effecting my whole game not just any character save.
The popup box says:
Generating level
Please wait while generating this level...
And the game log says:
There is an entrance to the Sher'Tul ruins here (press '<','>' or right click to use).
You notice a hole that could fit the gem key you found earlier, inserting it reveals the passage to the next level.
Quest 'Sher'Tul Fortress' status updated! (Press 'j' to see the quest log)
And it just hangs there forever.

I started from the launcher and enabled flush logging for both files.

Wow. I am glad someone told me about flush logging because I noticed the options on the launcher. I tried it again in Safe Mode and it looks like it works that way! So I have a work around at least, I can keep playing.
After I killed the wierdling beast I saved, exited, and loaded it again in normal mode and everything works.

It says there is an OpenGL error with the Bone Shield particles shader.
So you either need to upgrade drivers or disable some shader options.
