Fungal blood + Ancestral life exploit

While having fungus active, activate an instant cast infusion, if it was healing cancel regen, activate fungal blood, and the regen effect procs ancestral life which gives you a % of a turn. You can stack these as long as you cancel regen in between.
Currently you can frontload free turns before combat, but in the git version I see potential to exploit this further with Scar-Scripted Flesh, by getting a free turn every other crit on average.

At least the fix is simple. Make Fungal Growth be unable to proc Ancestral Life and then you only get turns from real regen effects. The only instant regen I know of is the Higher racial, and that's just a nice bonus to AM/Wyrmic Highers and not anything that needs fixing.

Hope this didn't/doesn't get fixed? It'd just be further nerfing Fungal Growth, which everyone pretty much already says to skip if doing Fungus.
I did it with an oozemancer. There is the disadvantage that you're blowing all of your infusions, and even if you do an Oozemancer Ogre who is relying on crits to get extra turns (which is tuning a lot of your build as 15ish generic points for it), that's sort of a new exploit made available by a new skill. Shouldn't the nerf/guard fall on the new skill?
