ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Tannen's Tower (3) (the water spiral) generated a boulder trap in the hallway that can't be passed, effectively making the level unbeatable by anyone without points in Heightened Senses. (At least I assume it can be disarmed. I haven't bothered to try the console yet.)

5%, huh? The random number generator must be extracting its payment for letting me get this far, then.

errr...does that means teleport rune/spells or similar can't work on this level? damn i didn't notice and it was my second option to get past that annoying boulder, it could be indeed a "little bother" to continue if you don't have the appropriate skill. i'm glad the first option work. i did pass that just a few hours ago with gem portal. it was actually the only use of that skill i ever made so my thanks to you then boulder, your presence was enough to make that spent generic point profitable as i didn't have any other means to get rid of you (i did have 5% chance it seems, but with the average luck i generally have...)

so, a fix then? no need to worry about having specific skills for future visit of tannen tower? glad to hear it but it also kind a sad...that was a good old trap, it would be sad if passing it become too easy.
