Allied Patrols Dropping T4 and T5 Items

I have received both a Stralite Shield and Drakeskin Armor from Allied Patrols while playing as a Ghoul Sun Paladin. This happened around level 10, so they were pretty blatantly overpowered for the time.

You call that a bug? I'm calling allied patrols blatantly OP and getting powerful items after taking a big risk the best part of any game.
Dunno if bug or intended behavior but it's definitely what makes ToME ToME.

Okay, then the patrols might need a buff on normal mode. I never dipped below 80% life and got gear I'm still using 15 levels later and will keep on using for a while yet.
